In 400 acres of parkland, Alton Water and its water sports centre offer unrivalled activities with extensive cycle paths, walks, sailing, paddleboarding, windsurfing, and fishing along with local pubs.
The Lake House boasts lots of natural light and has plenty of space on offer so that you can choose to spend quality time with your loved ones or enjoy your own pursuits. Nestled in a large west facing lawn that’s drenched in sun all day long. There is also a further wild grass meadow, approaching two acres, which runs down towards Alton Water and is ideal for picnics and other more expansive activities. Please note the meadow grass is allowed to grow long and intermittently cut back. RSPB Minsmere and Dunwich heath, offering opportunities for spotting birds and connecting with wildlife, with excellent walks available. The towns of Colchester and Ipswich for great shopping, museums, cafes and an excellent collection of eateries, including fine dining to many cafés serving home-made cakes and savouries to delight many palates.
