Relax in front of the Smart TV or enjoy the warmth of the woodburner on cooler evenings. The bedroom features a kingsize bed, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. Silton is a small, peaceful village, ideal for those seeking a serene escape. The surrounding Blackmore Vale offers gently rolling countryside, open fields often dotted with grazing dairy cows, and picturesque woodlands. Take leisurely walks and discover the pretty villages and market towns scattered throughout the area.

With its dark night skies and wide horizons, The Old Orchard provides a perfect countryside retreat while still offering easy access to the A303 ensuring quick and convenient travel to nearby attractions. Occasionally, whilst enjoying the outside space, some road noise from the A303 may be heard when the wind blows in a certain direction, but the garden setting and overall convenience make up for it.

Explore the enchanting surroundings, on foot explore the 12th Century Church of St Nicholas and Judge Wyndham’s Oak, the oldest tree in Dorset just 10 minutes away, or stop for a bite to eat at the quintessential English pub in nearby Bourton. 9-miles away is Shaftesbury’s captivating town centre, featuring Shaftesbury Abbey and the iconic Gold Hill from the Hovis advert. Nearby attractions include the National Trust’s Stourhead House, Longleat Safari Park, Sturminster Newton Mill and Haynes Motor Museum.
