The charming nearby fishing villages of Beer, Branscombe and Budleigh Salterton are all worth visiting. For children, great days out can be had at Crealy Adventure Park, Bicton Botanical Gardens, the Donkey Sanctuary, fossil hunting at Lyme Regis, Seaton Tramway and Seaton Jurassic. Local nature reserves including the Seaton Marshes for birdwatching are within close proximity.
