You can wake up every day to mountain views, including Ben Nevis, from the patio doors.
The Old Schoolhouse Cottage is on one level. The double bedroom is a spacious and comfortable and has an adjoining shower room. The kitchen, dining and living space is open plan and has access to the private decking and garden via the patio doors; from the decking you have fantastic mountain views, including Ben Nevis. Parking is available off street on the private driveway directly outside the cottage.
Close to the River Lochy, The Old Schoolhouse Cottage couldn’t be in a more central location for Fort William town centre, Ben Nevis, Glen Nevis, the Caledonian Canal and Ben Nevis Distillery are all within 5 minutes. Supermarkets, shops, bars and restaurants are also close by, from the centre of Fort William you can go by steam train over the Glenfinnan Viaduct to Mallaig, enjoy a fresh fish and chips lunch and then return on a normal train; the viaduct and train were both used in the Harry Potter films. If you wish to go further afield but still a day trip, you can visit Loch Ness, the Isle of Skye, Oban (known as the seafood capital) and, of course, Glencoe which is stunning no matter what time of year it is.
