With easy access to the glorious Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks there are stunning views over the surrounding fells and fabulous walks straight from the door. If you plan to do some more adventurous hiking, then Ingleton is just a few miles away. There is so much to do in this area from cycling, caving, hiking and golfing. Or why not try the three peaks of Whernside, Pen-y-Ghent and Ingleborough? The lakeland hills are all easily accessed. Malham Cove is 20 minutes away, a sheer rock face which challenges climbers and also protects a pair of nesting peregrine falcons which can be viewed during the summer months. Just a short drive away is the market town of Settle with fabulous eateries, walking routes and the famous Settle-Carlisle railway.
