Welcome to the delightfully named Potting Shed! A wonderful cottage nestling within the village of Par on the South Cornwall coast. Perfect for visiting the ancient seafaring village of Fowey, set in an area of incredible natural beauty, with narrow streets, boutique shops and restaurants. The mainline train station at Par is within a short walk, where you can let the train take the strain and visit Plymouth, the historic Naval city to the East, or West to as far as Penzance.
Padstow, Truro, Newquay and St Ives are easily reached on the line, with some of the finest beaches and breath-taking scenery in the county. Par Beach, with it’s sand dunes and coves in just a 10 minutes’ walk, whilst iconic Charlestown, with its fleet of tall ships is a must visit and a step back in time. Par itself has a supermarket, fish and chip shops and several traditional pubs, whilst St Austell has a wide array of amenities, just 15 minutes away by car.
