The Retreat is a detached, dog friendly holiday home with two double bedrooms accommodating up to four people in total. This beautifully furnished and well equipped holiday home offers a surprisingly spacious base, and is located in the popular seaside town of Ryde with its host of shops, bars, restaurants and cafés. The property is also located just a short stroll from the marvellous beach at Appley. The stretches of sand at Ryde offer fantastic views across the Solent to Portsmouth, with the landmark Spinnaker Tower forming an impressive backdrop to a busy shipping channel, which carries an interesting array of freight, passenger and military ships, a great place to take your four-legged friend for their morning walk - there is even an external dog shower back at The Retreat, so you can clean off your furry friend upon your return. Along the promenade, you will find tennis courts, ten pin bowling, a fun fair, canoe lake and a swimming pool, providing plenty to do within the local area. You can also enjoy the scenic coastal walks, go crabbing, sailing, fishing, horse riding, golf or even go-karting, all of which are easily accessible from the property.

Whatever you decide, one thing’s for sure, the Isle of Wight has plenty to offer. Beach 1 mile. Shop, pub and restaurant 175 yards.
