Relax and recharge within this wonderful shepherd hut. This detached wooden hut stands in a 1-acre meadow with orchard and wild flowers (seasonal). It offers an open plan compact studio style sleeping and living accommodation. A private decked sun terrace with outdoor furniture overlooks the meadow. The location of the hut is remote, so guests are reminded to bring their own laptop (with streamed favourite movies and TV series) if wishing to watch anything during their stay. There is a kettle, toaster, fridge and combination microwave oven and grill for simple refreshments.
The local village pub serving excellent food is just a few minutes walk away. Maldon town centre is 3 miles, with plenty of shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants, a great choice for both lunch and evening meals. A golf putting green and course are nearby, so remember to bring your golf clubs. Excellent walking can be enjoyed in the area, miles of path and trails surround you.
Local attractions include the Museum of Steam and Power and Military Collection, Blackwater Estuary, Beeleigh Abbey, Hyde Hall and RHS garden, Promenade Park and boat trips from Maldon quayside.
