Kilmartin village is rich in archaeological and historical remains of Neolithic and early Bronze Age monuments. Visit standing stones, burial cairns, castles and famous gardens. Explore the Mull of Kintyre and Islay or catch the passenger ferry from Tayvallich to the island of Jura (summer only) and sail from Oban to Mull and Iona. Cycling, fishing, sailing and golf are close by or enjoy leisurely walks along the banks of the Crinan Canal. The small town of Lochgilphead is 8 miles south and the bustling town of Oban is 30 miles north. The Stable (31240) is semi-detached and The Bullock Shed (31241) is detached, and both properties can be booked together to accommodate up to 10 guests. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 1/2 miles.
