Enter the hallway and find a utility room, bathroom with large shower then step into the open plan kitchen dining and a mezzanine type lounge area with comfy seating. Take the stairs down to the lower ground floor and you will discover the large bedroom with separate en-suite toilet. Wake up in the morning throw back the curtains and open the patio doors onto the seating area with a nice cup of coffee and enjoy the fantastic views!
Nestled on a quiet country lane with rural views and a scattering of stone-built cottages. You will see cows grazing and horse riders clip clopping along the way. Lots of walkers and hikers wandering through. The small, rural village of Ashover is close by and offers guests a peaceful village situated in the Amber Valley, just five miles from Matlock. The village has several good pubs, including one of England’s renowned oldest pubs in the Peak District. The county town of Matlock, a former spa town, offers a host of fine eating places, good shops and an interesting museum, whilst at the heart of the town, Hall Leys Park provides a lovely setting for a host of recreational activities such as bowls, tennis and boating.
Enjoy a thrilling day at Gulliver’s Kingdom, with its owl maze, water gardens, nature trails, exhilarating rides and cable car trips over the magnificent Matlock Gorge. Follow the High Peak Cycle Trail, explore the lovely market town of Bakewell, famous for the Bakewell pudding, or visit the elegant Chatsworth House and Hardwick Hall where it all started for the Cavendish family.
