Within the city of Hereford at Hereford Cathedral it is the location for the famous Mappa Mundi and chained library. Local attractions are plentiful and include the Black and White Village Trail, the local ruins of a motte-and-bailey castle, the historic National Trust Berrington Hall, Croft Castle and Brockhampton Estate. This property is adjacent to Queenswood Country Park and Arboretum, which is sure to be popular with younger visitors as it is home to the Gruffalo trail, as is the activity centre at Oaker Wood Leisure and the Small Breeds Farm Park and Owl Centre.
