This terraced holiday property is situated on the oldest street in Scarborough and is the site of the original Scarborough Fayre, which dates back to the 1500s. Steeped in history, the building has a smuggler’s tunnel in the basement that leads to the beach. Large groups can have a fantastic town centre holiday with a lively Irish bar being part of the building, which is home to the Scarborough Folk Club, with live music and has one of the largest whisky selections in the UK. The property sleeps 12 so it is ideal for stag and hen parties or even a large family who like the liveliness of the pub and convenience of the town centre. The open plan lounge/dining area has its own bar which can be stocked up for you from the pub downstairs. Three of the bedrooms have great sea views down towards the bustling harbour and promenade. The beach is less than a minute’s walk away stretching from the Spa in the south, all the way to the North Bay. There are plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance and the main shopping street is just up the hill. Whitby, Filey, Flamborough and the traditional seaside resort of Bridlington are all a short drive away and the medieval city of York is less than an hour by car or train.
