The Townhouse offers spacious and comfortable accommodation in a residential area in Inverness, 3 minutes from the city centre and the River Ness, and 10 minutes from a delicatessen, chemist, bakery and newsagent in the Crown area. It is a few minutes’ walk from the railway and coach stations and a 30-minute drive from Dalcross Airport. This centrally heated house is decorated and furnished to a very good standard. Wi-Fi is available throughout the house, and a parking permit is provided for on road parking. Excellent restaurants and a variety of pubs are within easy walking distance, and Eden Court Theatre offers a wide and diverse programme of music, drama and cinema. The leisure centre, swimming pool and tennis courts are popular and adjacent to the scenic island district of Inverness.
Inverness makes a superb base for sampling many attractions in the Highlands. Good walking, golf courses, bike trails, Nairn beach, the delights of Loch Ness and the Caledonian Canal are within easy reach. Ullapool is around an hour’s drive away and the Isle of Skye is about 2 hours away by car, and slightly longer by train. The historically important Culloden battlefield, Cawdor Castle and Fort George are sights worth seeing, and the distilleries on the Whisky Trail make visitors welcome. Beach 16 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 500 yards.
