The barn is upside down in nature with its bedrooms and bathrooms on the ground floor and kitchen and living/dining room on the first floor, making the most of the vaulted, wooden beamed ceilings and the views over Wensleydale.
Timbessie Barn is perfectly located for exploring the Yorkshire Dales with numerous marked footpaths from the doorstep and beauty spots such as Aysgarth Falls and Bolton Castle within walking distance. Hawes, with the Wensleydale Creamery and Hardraw Falls, are only a short drive away. Other popular spots such as Malham Cove, White Scar Cave and Ribblehead Viaduct make for a great day trip. After a day exploring you can either have a cosy night in warming your toes by the wood burner or head out for some good food and a drink at the village pub, just a 2-minute walk away.
Outside the barn benefits from a gated, dry stone walled courtyard with seating and a grassed garden area with garden furniture and room for playing and /or parking. The nearest shop is at the garage in Aysgarth, the nearest pub is a 2 minute walk away.
