Two Rivers Reach is an ideal property to be in the heart of Christchurch, there is a parking space however a car is not necessary as it is located a five minute walk from the train station and there are excellent public transport services available which can take you to nearby towns such as Bournemouth and into the New Forest.
It is a spacious first floor maisonette with a kingsize bedroom, double bedroom and a twin room. The bathroom has a bath and a shower and there is a separate toilet. There is an open plan living and dining area and a well-equipped kitchen for cooking up a good meal. The owner has a beach hut on Southbourne beach which you can use for two days when you stay for a week. Please ensure you speak with the owner prior to your stay to arrange the days you can have use of the beach hut.
Two Rivers Reach is situated between the River Avon and River Stour and is an easy walk onto Christchurch High Street. You can roam around the ruins of Christchurch Castle and head down to the stream with the ducking stool a replica of one that was in the same location in the 14th century. The stream is much too shallow now, but you can sit in the chair and get some fun photos. There are fantastic walks along the harbour which is inhabited by ducks and swans and there is a variety of fantastic eateries. Check the local events calendar as there are often events happening as well as the weekly markets. There is the Regents Centre in Christchurch which often has family friendly shows, live music and films on for you to enjoy, ensure you pre-book.
A short bus ride or drive away are a selection of beaches, head to Avon Beach for a pebble beach or to Southbourne for the blue flag sandy beaches which stretches towards Bournemouth and Sandbanks. You can visit Mudeford Spit and get the boat across to Hengistbury Head beach which is home to fantastic beach huts and is a site of special scientific interest, here you can hire bikes to cycle around and take part in a variety of water sports. A little further afield is The New Forest with free roaming ponies, donkeys and cattle, there are numerous villages and towns within the New Forest with independent shops, cafés and pubs.
