This substantial coastal period farmhouse overlooks the golden sands of Whitesands Bay out to Ramsey Island and the Atlantic beyond - one of the most memorable views in Pembrokeshire. An enviable location for holidays throughout the year, this warm, comfortable farmhouse provides an idyllic base from which to sample the delights of the beautiful St Davids Peninsula. A 5 minute walk down the winding lane below the house takes you to the beach of Whitesands (¼ mile), which is manned by life guards during the summer months.
Ty Gwyn is a house with history, according to local legend St David the Patron Saint of Wales was educated here in the 6th century.
St Davids, the smallest city in the United Kingdom is only a short drive away. It has a range of amenities including a bank, post office, supermarket, filling station, chemist, doctor, vet and interesting local restaurants and independent shops. Do visit the famous ’hidden’ Cathedral in the Vale of Roses, and the ruins of the Bishop’s Palace. Beach ¼ mile.
