This homely static caravan is set in a wonderful peaceful position close to all the must visit spots of the Llyn Peninsula.
The Llyn Peninsula is an unspoilt, designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with miles of coastal and mountain walks to explore. Please note whilst you’re very welcome to bring your dog along, there are free running pet ducks and chickens that wander over from the owner’s house, so dogs must be kept on a lead. There is wildlife in abundance, including pods of dolphins, seals and birdlife to spot. Discover deserted coves and miles of sandy beaches which this coastline is famous for, an ideal base for either an active walking holiday or a relaxing, sightseeing tour, full of history and spectacular scenery.
Within walking distance of the cottage is the incredible prehistoric remains of Tre’r Ceiri, a hill fort with stunning views, made up of 150 dry stone hut circles. Glasfryn Parc is just over 4 miles distance, here you’ll find a plethora of activities on offer from archery, go karting, water sports, clay pigeon shooting and much more.
Nearby Pwllheli has plenty of shops to peruse, eateries and a large beach with miles of sweeping sands. A short drive is Porthdinllaen Beach, home to a popular beachside inn, once voted in the top ten best beach bars in the world! You are also within easy reach of Porthmadog, home to the Welsh Highland Railway, and fashionable Abersoch is also nearby. Criccieth and Harlech are a short drive away where you’ll find the historic castles. Snowdonia National Park is within easy reach where you can take one of the many routes and walk to the summit, or take a leisurely journey up on the train.
