Steps lead down into the amazing light filled space, with wall-to-wall glass and ceiling lantern making the absolute most of the spectacular scenery of the Northumberland National Park.
The iconic Hadrian’s Wall feels in touching distance, and the dark starry skies an awesome sight when night settles in. A modern bathroom with shower leads off the bedroom and a staircase leads down to the living room with recliner sofa and 55" TV. Bifold doors lead out to the garden area, imagine sitting in the hot tub, surrounded by some of England’s most breathtaking scenery, and gazing up at the starry skies. For cooler nights, cosy up round the sunken fire pit and toast marshmallows while enjoying your favourite tipple.
Within a short stroll you can discover the famous Vindolanda Roman Fort, The Sill Landscape Discovery Centre and the world-famous Sycamore Gap on Hadrian’s Wall. The location is excellent for exploring the spectacular scenery of the north of England, the Scottish borderland and the Lake District National Park, which is just an hour away.
The historic market town of Hexham is a must, which boasts a stunning abbey, the oldest gaol in the country and an abundance of eclectic shops, restaurants and pubs. Continue to the beautiful Roman town of Corbridge and meander round its boutique shops, art galleries and antique shops, stop for a coffee or take a stroll along the river. At the end of a day exploring, enjoy a short stroll to the popular Twice Brewed Inn, serving great food and assortment of local ales with large beer garden, onsite Brew House and Dark Skies Observatory – everything you need on the doorstep!
