Water Side is a superb, detached property with stunning views across Falmouth Marina, a sun deck with rattan furniture and a large barbecue and dining area. The interior is bright and spacious with large windows to maximise the sea views. There are few better places to observe the constant movements of yachts and power boats while enjoying some al fresco dining at the heart of Cornwall’s riviera. This property all on one level once inside, however there are six stone steps up to the back door from the parking area and three steps down to the front door. There is a self-contained annexe to the property, with its own access and permanent tenant, under one end of the property.
From Water Side it is a short, level walk past the Greenbank Hotel and Royal Cornwall Yacht Club into the heart of Falmouth and here you can enjoy the wealth of fine restaurants and thriving pubs that this vibrant town has to offer. At the far end of town is Events Square and the National Maritime Museum where the Falmouth Oyster Festival and the shore-side activities for Falmouth Week are based, amongst others, during the year. There are also regular ferries from the Prince of Wales Pier and Custom House Quay that are well worth a day trip with destinations such as the beautiful St Mawes and the Roseland Peninsula or further up the River Fal to Trelissick Gardens, Malpas or Truro. The beaches at Gyllingvase and Swanpool are coarse sand and are wonderfully sunny south facing spots. Beach 1¾ miles.
