West Beach House is a great holiday home, located on a quiet road but within easy walking distance to everything the vibrant seaside town of Whitstable has to offer. The house has a lot of entertaining space from the large living room to the games room and the open plan kitchen/dining room. French doors lead out on to a large decked area and garden, perfect for al fresco dining and for children to play. Upstairs there are three bedrooms all with wardrobes and drawers for yoiur belongings. There is also a bathroom on this floor with a bath and separate shower cubicle.
Access to the beach is via a pleasant footpath which takes you over the golf course, and onto the long stretch of West Beach. From here, a pathed promenade leads you into the town centre. The working harbour is at the heart of the town, from where you can get boat trips out to the famous sea forts, and pick up some lovely seafood from the fish markets.
The town itself is a charming mix of independent boutique shops, cafes, restaurants and art galleries. There is usually some live music playing in the local pubs at weekends and this adds to the amazing buzz of this lively town.
If you want to get out and about, the City of Canterbury is a short drive, as is the historic market town of Faversham. Both places can also be accessed on foot via some stunning footpaths.
