Welcome to Wheal Trenwith Cottage, a beautiful two-bedroom cottage in St Ives situated in a quiet residential area, just a five-minute walk to the town, harbour and three beaches. This deceptively spacious cottage has two bedrooms and a separate toilet on the ground floor, with a separate bathroom and open plan kitchen, dining and living area on the first floor, offering views of the sea, beach and harbour. Doors open out onto a private balcony ideal for morning coffee or watching the fantastic skies at night. The property is tastefully decorated and makes an ideal place to relax and unwind whilst still having the town accessible.
Ideally situated for couples and families, there is so much to do in the area. You can return home after a busy day and relax on the balcony, watching the sun set or enjoy a delicious meal in one of the many restaurants in the town. Benefiting from having its own parking, you can leave the car and walk a very short distance to catch the shuttle bus into town. If you want to explore the area you can catch the open top bus, hop on and off as you please, or catch the train to Penzance or Truro. A favourite is to catch the St Ives Bay line. It is a good idea to plan your journey - this takes you along the scenic route to St Erth stopping at Lelant and Carbis Bay taking in the spectacular coast of golden sands.
Lelant is a small village with a lovely walk on the Southwest Coastal Path taking you to along Carbis Bay and finally to St Ives. Just a five-minute walk takes you to the town bustling with independent shops, great for buying presents and souvenirs, wander around the art galleries, stop at one of the cafés, pubs, or restaurants for refreshment. Explore the winding streets, historic buildings and soak up the atmosphere. If you like art, pop into the Tate Gallery, or just sit by the harbour and enjoy the scenery. There are five amazing beaches here including Porthminster which is the most popular, Porthmeor with its own surf school and beach café, Porthgwidden which is the smallest beach great for families, and quieter than the Harbour beach, and Bambaluz. If you want to take a boat trip, or a fishing trip this is the place to book. Popular with walkers, photographers, and artists, St Ives is an amazing location.
