Whitestones is a great holiday home for up to eight people. A short walk down to the main harbour area of St Mawes, this superb property offers very comfortable accommodation. The deck area offers good views across to the Bohella side of St Mawes. It is a very convenient house to stay in St Mawes and offers good parking for two vehicles on a private driveway. The living area has the benefit of a wood burner to keep things cosy during the colder months of the year. Whilst the enclosed deck is a great place for relaxing with a glass of wine in the summer.
The house itself is in reverse style with the open plan living space on the first floor. The living space is split clearly into the kitchen area, the dining area, and a relaxing living area. The living area comprises two large three-seater sofas and two easy chairs. The large dining table can easily accommodate a large group around it. On the ground floor, you will find the tastefully decorated bedrooms; two double rooms both with kingsize beds, and two twin rooms. The master bedroom has an en-suite shower room and there is an additional separate family bathroom as well as a shower room.
St Mawes is one of the finest waterside villages in Cornwall. Situated overlooking an idyllic bay on the eastern side of the famous Falmouth Estuary, St Mawes has one of the mildest climates in Britain due to its proximity to the Gulf Stream. There are miles of coastal and countryside walks to take in and some idyllic beaches on which to relax and watch the world go by. The little Place Ferry takes visitors to explore St Anthony’s Head or there are regular ferries to Falmouth. There is a selection of pubs and restaurants all within easy walking distance, as well as a range of shops including Post Office, butchers, chemist, art, book and clothes shops. Beach ½ mile.
The owner has an annexe to the side of the Ground Floor which is occupied occasionally for their own use. Beach ½ miles.
