Newquay for its surf and beaches, Padstow for its working harbour and dining, Port Isaac and Perranporth are all easily reached and provide the perfect ingredients for a superb family holiday of sand, sea, surf and fun. Also close by are many tourist attractions such as the owl sanctuary, Creally Adventure Park, Newquay Zoo, Goss Moor cycle trail, riding stables, and the many beaches of the north coast. There is a golf course just a few minutes away and the city of Truro with its gothic cathedral, theatre, cinema and quaint shopping lanes is easily reached. An off road cycle network has been developed through the grounds and bike hire is now available. If you want to leave the car but fancy a day at the beach a small branch line station is near Wiki Wheels which goes straight to Newquay, perfect for a day by the sea without the parking.
