The Monarchs Way long distance footpath passes just in front of the barns and there are many organised tours, walks and listed footpaths within the immediate area, in the Mendip Hills and along the Somerset Levels. Glastonbury Town Trail and Glastonbury Rural Walk can be followed with ease. Attractions in Glastonbury include climbing up the tor for magnificent views, the Chalice Well and Rural Life Museum, the high street itself encompassing the myths, legends and spiritual ambience of the town, as well as the famous abbey. The city of Wells with its cathedral and Bishops Palace is within a 20-minute drive, as are The Royal Bath and West Showground at Shepton Mallet and Wookey Hole Caves.
