Located in the small market town of Heathfield and standing on a ridge, it is surrounded by stunning rolling Sussex countryside and has amazing views to the south from the High Street.
Wisteria Cottage is the perfect retreat for a couple looking for a peaceful break away. The cottage has been renovated to a very high standard with quality fixtures and fittings throughout. It is adjacent to the owner’s property but benefits from a private entrance with parking on the drive to the right of the cottage. A fully fitted kitchen for preparing meals, a spacious bathroom with walk-in shower and a beautifully decorated bedroom makes the perfect space to rest at the end of a long day. The living room boast lots of natural light and has double French doors leading to the private patio and small garden area, where you find a barbecue and fire pit - the perfect place to relax in on a warm summer’s night.
Guests can take advantage of the property’s convenient location, being within easy reach of the coast, local restaurants, and other attractions. The perfect base for exploring everything Kent and Sussex has to offer. Glyndebourne opera house is less than 10 miles away where you will see some the world’s best operas. Only 16 miles to the coastal town of Eastbourne and 17 miles from the historic town of Royal Tunbridge Wells.
Hidden Spring Vineyard is close by and is the home of Hidden Spring wine. They offer wine tasting and tours and have a stunning decked area where you can relax and take in the views over the vines. There is a 15th-century pub within walking distance where you will experience the classic old England experience or if you fancy something more modern visit the local brewery which was opened in March 2022 where they offer 12 keg and 4 cast lines serving brewery fresh beer; they also offer Sussex street food if you get hungry, a great stop off point for any keen cyclists or walkers. There are lots of walking trails and cycling routes in the area. The famous Cuckoo Trail is equally good for walkers and cyclists with a coffee shop on the route, and after a long day of taking in everything the area has to offer you get to return to the peace and tranquillity of Wisteria Cottage. Beach 12 miles. Pub and restaurant within 115 yards.
