Located on the family run Bowses Hill Farm camp site in the quiet rural village of Stalmine, Woodland Lodge makes the most perfect base to relax and unwind taking away the stress of everyday life. Rustic in design, you’ll notice the bespoke handmade kitchen and beds have been combined with the modern day conveniences of Wi-Fi and a Smart TV. Outside, the private enclosed garden holds pride of place with the most superb wood-fired tub to simply relax and gaze at the stars above. Exploring the grounds you’ll find a selection of on-site animals including pigs, chickens and Shetland ponies, together with a dirt bike track for children who visit armed with their bikes. For those who prefer two feet, there’s beautiful Lancashire landscapes in each and every direction with footpaths and walks that suit all abilities.
Stalmine itself is around 5 miles from the small market town of Poulton-le-Fylde which has a good selection of shops, bars, and cafés to accommodate most tastes. Other places nearby along the beautiful Fylde coast include Thornton Cleveleys which has a wonderful old-fashioned charm and promenade, Fleetwood which is home to the Freeport Outlet Shopping Village and of course Blackpool whose many attractions include The Tower, Blackpool Zoo, Pleasure Beach, Sea Life Centre, and Madame Tussauds. There’s also leafy and cosmopolitan Lytham plus St Annes with its large sandy beach and colourful beach huts.
Apart from being accessible for the coast, the property is also well-placed for exploring rural Lancashire. The Ribble Valley with its pretty villages is within an hour’s drive, and it’s an excellent choice for walks and country pubs.
