Just 5 miles from the excellent sandy beaches of the Pembrokeshire coast, this comfortable property has been cleverly converted from a stone barn to offer comfortable holiday accommodation. Using rugs to dress tiled floors, placed around a crackling wood burner to keep an authentic rustic charm alongside a modern fitted kitchen (fitted in 2023) nestled within an open plan living space, complete with its own garden. Sharing a courtyard with three other properties, it enjoys excellent walking (via a public footpath across farmland) and birdwatching from the doorstep. There are over 700 holly trees within the grounds with red, yellow and blackberries and several gardened areas within the ground which provide hidden areas to enjoy.
Please note Y Bwthyn has shared Wi-Fi that can be accessed in the yard outside but does not work within the property (details can be found within the property), and due to being sourced from a spring/borehole on-site the water pressure may vary. The property is located adjacent to its sister property Ty Bach.
Newport, nestled along the Rhode Island coast, offers an array of captivating sights and activities from exploring the opulent Gilded Age mansions like The Breakers and Marble House to strolling along the charming Cliff Walk with breathtaking ocean views, and indulging in the vibrant atmosphere of Thames Street dotted with boutique shops, cosy cafes, and historic landmarks. There are also sailing and golfing opportunities here.
Fishguard is 9 miles away and is a picturesque coastal town in Wales that enchants visitors with its rugged cliffs, serene harbour, and a rich maritime history encapsulated within its quaint streets, offering a serene retreat amidst stunning natural beauty. Beach 4 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 3 miles.
Y Bwthyn can be booked together with Ty Bach (OEL) and Penfiedr (UK10412) to accommodate up to 14 guests.
