Although the estate is in a rural location it still offers easy access to the popular Lake District attractions with Lake Coniston and Windermere both within 3 miles drive, also on the doorstep are superb walking and cycling routes.
If you are more interested in less energetic pursuits, there is a good choice of museums such as the Motor Museum or Hill Top, and even plan a visit to Beatrix Potter’s house.
