The RSPB bird sanctuary at Bempton Cliffs is a short drive away and here you can see thousands of migrating seabirds, especially the puffins. Scarborough and Whitby are further up the coast, both very popular holiday destinations.
Further afield is a day trip to York, the North Yorkshire Moors or Leeds plus many more locations.
