With a weekly market on Fridays, you can pick up some locally sourced produce and head back to your home away from home. With some great walks in the area to Bolton Castle and beyond, which are accessible for all with many of the routes starting from the town centre. If you prefer your transport steam-powered, then hop aboard the Wensleydale Railway for a breathtaking scenic route to Redmire. With a wide range of eateries available from cosy tearooms to local home-cooked restaurants, there is something to tempt everyone.
